Escalation Mechanism:

IRB - Independent Review Board

• IRB members allocated for review of the work product through out the project life cycle.

• IRB Members allocated independently review the work product and prepare the review note.

• The IRB meeting is conveyed in which an Author, Recorder, Moderator, and Technical Reviewers, SEPG Member attend.

• The Review comments are discussed and debated and amongst the participants .

• Review Team member ensure that author closes all the review comments discussed in the meeting .

• Review team member ensure that the defect database is updated.

ITB - Independent Testing Board

• ITB member is allocated to project right from the requirement phase.

• ITB member review the respective work product in different phase of development and prepare the test plans .

• ITB member Execute these test case.

• ITB member Publish the defect report and update the defect database.

• ITB member Ensure that the bugs are fixed prior to release of the product.

SEPG - Software Engineering Process Group

• Review effectiveness of organization and project defined software Processes.

• Increase employee participation in Process Improvement Activities (>71%).

• Impart Training on existing, revised and new software engineering Processes
  - Process Compliance Index > 88%) .

• Review Process Improvement Proposals (PIP)/Change Requests (CR) and incorporating the approved PIP/CR (s) in QMS
  - 145 Accepted/ 178 Request (Acceptance =81.46%) in year 2001-2002
  - MTTR -15 -20 Working Days.
  

• Pilot, evaluate and institutionalize the best methods and processes in projects.
